Joining the farm…

Today was my last day of work – corporate work.  I quit to go back to school for my Green MBA and to spend more time on the farm.  That starts tomorrow with our Tomato-transplanting day.  We should have over a dozen volunteers joining us to transplant thousands of tomatoes.  Dave prepped the fields today before picking up 6 more baby lambs – pictures tomorrow.  Steph is busy making chocolate brownies with coffee for tomorrow’s event, and we spent the early evening picking lOTS of lettuce for salad and cutting today’s mass growth of asparagus which we’ll cook on the grill in the field.  I’m sitting next to a 15ish pound shoulder that’s continuing to thaw and will also be cooked (at least finished) on the grill tomorrow.
