First Farmer’s Market

We went to the Harvard Square Market yesterday – what a beautiful day too.  It was great to be back and people were so happy to see the market again.  We saw lots of loyal customers return as well as many new faces.  We were stocked up on lettuce, choi, garlic scapes, hakurei and scarlet queen turnips, arugula, swiss chard, peas, and eggs.  Lots of questions about how our chickens were raised – great to see people asking these questions.   Chef Jody Adams of Rialta in Cambridge created a delicious salad that included our turnips and garlic scapes.

Next market, this Thursday in Plymouth.
