The Tomatoes are Mowed

So it finally ended this weekend.  As depressing as it is to mow down 4000 row feet of tomatoes, it’s good to make a decision.  The tomatoes that were ripening were mush, and the plants were covered.  So we will continue to celebrate our best year for corn (although it’s all gone now), incredible garlic, a plethora of lovely onions, and potatoes that still look good!  Lots of planting going on.  Beans are coming up nice at Fuller, as is Arugula.  We’ve staggered more arugula plantings and are shooting for more lettuce.  Lots of fall brassicas – Kale and Collards.  And several variety of turnip as well as some radish.  So much more bounty on the way!  Thanks for you support
